DisplayIt helped bring Liberty Station Gifts to life at San Diego International Airport (SAN), creating a warm, modern airport retail environment inspired by the character of San Diego.
The store combines custom retail millwork, merchandise displays, wall fixtures and architectural elements to showcase apparel, gifts, souvenirs and locally inspired products. Wood tones, dimensional wall treatments, integrated lighting and arched merchandising niches give the shop a distinctive identity while keeping merchandise highly visible and easy to browse.
Strategic Merchandising.
High-Impact Results.
In an airport, every square foot has to work hard. Fixtures need to accommodate a diverse product mix, maintain clear sightlines and withstand the demands of a high-traffic environment. The finished Liberty Station store balances those functional requirements with a strong sense of place, creating an airport gift shop that feels distinctly connected to San Diego.
The project highlights DisplayIt’s capabilities in airport retail fabrication, custom millwork, retail fixtures, branded environments and multi-material commercial interiors.
