Spring arrives abruptly each year in Coachella, CA. Cactus flowers bloom, tortoises roam, and the piercing sounds of Rock n Roll bang on the desert floor, The 2012 Coachella Music and Arts Festival has arrived. This was an amazing event again this year. Displayit Inc. collaborated with Marketing Werks to build and install the walls and center pillar of the PlayStation Tent at the Coachella and StageCoach Events. Props to the Displayit Shop, Morgana and Sergio for putting up high scores for concepts, build work, and deliveries on the fire run of a timeline (are there any projects that aren’t).

We are proud to announce that yet another designer at Displayit, INC has become LEED certified.

“LEED is an internationally recognized green building certification system which provides third-party verification that a building or community was designed and built using strategies aimed at increasing performance, reducing waste, and improving quality of life.” (Everblue).

Mamma Chia Booth at the Natural Products Expo

Mamma Chia is a fast growing company with a green-inspired heart. Displayit was enthused to help create this exhibit space welcoming over 60,000 visitors at this years Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, California. Displayit enjoyed the yummy (locally grown) Chia seeds in these juicy drinks. We’d recommend the “Raspberry Passion,” but all 6 flavors are simply delicious!!

Great job Krystle McAllister, team Displayit and team Mamma Chia on this beautiful booth.

Displayit’s Chinese Manufacturing Team Meets Mickey!

Displayit’s China manufacturing team met up for a few days of fun here in sunny Southern California. Charlie, Lily, and Fenny came to visit Displayit’s US manufacturing and warehousing facilities, as well as our design and sales center. Other attractions included the LA Lakers, the beautiful beaches and of course Mickey, Mini, and friends. Fun was had by all and our trans-Pacific partnership has never been stronger!

Mike Zimmerman also made us proud in this fancy Disney: Alvin and the Chipmunks hat. See below!!

A.R.E. – We did it again!!

Congratulations to the entire Displayit design department! A.R.E. (Association for Retail Environments) has recognized Displayit for the second time in the category: “Hardline Shop within a Store” for the Nixon section @ Sun Diego (in Fashion Valley Mall, San Diego).

We must wait until the actual A.R.E. awards (Feb 29^th) to see what place we’ve received within the category.

A big high five to our chief designer Dan Hudson for this beautiful shop-in-shop design!

Favorite flavors: Piña Colata, Bada Bing Cherry (thanks for the laugh, Bill!), & Manic Mango with Chili pepper. YUM!

“CES Rage Meets Bieber Mania”

Titans of Technology, Geek Squads, Notebook Junkies, and Cell Phone Certifiables swarmed to Las Vegas earlier this month for the show of all tradeshows – CES. All 4 Halls blew minds each day. Impressive were Samsung’s 150” tack sharp LCD’s, Sony’s & LG’s 3-D Video Walls, and the Microsoft Booth which was trademark blue/purple showcasing products you need 3 PHD’s in engineering to comprehend.

Not so predictable highlights included a 100 foot wide Day Glow Green & Yellow Mushroom with Monarch Butterflies flying beneath it at a Korean technology company’s booth, 50 Cent and Ludacris w/ crews pitching new headphones with pounding base, and Justin Bieber signing autographs at a Vietnamese Robotics Booth. Bieber caused a strange panic amongst the many attendees.

Through it all, The Displayit Built GoPro Booth was a solid success at CES. Thousands of attendees from around the globe walked through the booth, checked out GoPro’s new HD 2 Cameras, and viewed the insane footage that is captured by GoPro cameras every day. Next up for GoPro- SIA & ISPO!
